Course contents:
1. Judaism (genesis and the formation of rabbinic Judaism, the problem of Jewish identity, Zionist movement and the state of Israel, the main elements of the religious awareness of contemporary Jews, Judaism and Catholic church in the course of history, unique closeness, differences;
2. Islam (Muhammad, the Quran, the main elements of the Islamic faith, Jesus and Mary in the Quran, the five pillars, festivals and morals; Sufism, social and political life, Islam and Christianity - the conditions for dialogue and differences)
3. Hinduism (preliminary explanations; scriptures and gurus, brahman and atman, the gods and deities, creation and Maya; dharma - karma - samsara, varna, ashrams; goals and values, moral life, yoga, moksha, Hinduism and Christianity - the common elements and differences)
4. Buddhism (preliminary explanation, the Buddha, synods and the canon of writings, the essence of the doctrine, the doctrine of faith and morals, divisions, the development of Buddhism, Buddhism in Poland, Tibetan Buddhism, Buddhism and Christianity - the basis of dialogue and differences)
Oral examination lasting 15 minutes regarding all these lectures
