Psychology of Religion WT-SLO-PRE
Contents of the course:
1. Classification of the sciences concerning religion.
2. Methods of describing and explaining religion: its aims and role for the human life.
3. Genesis and nature of religion: Phenomenological, Evolutionary, Behavioral and Analytical theories.
4. Main expressions of religious life of the human being: prayer and sacrifice.
5. Phenomenological description of the individual religious experience.
6. Stages of the religious development of man: childhood, youth, adult.
Evaluation methods: Oral exam at the end of each teaching period. Duration of the examination - about 15 minutes.
