Seminar-Dogmatic Theology WT-SLF-STD
Meritoric contents:
Working together over the choosing theme of thesis, making plan and content of each chapter. Exercises how to write a thesis both from a meritoric side (analysis of theological texts and texts of the Teaching Authority of the Church), and from a formal one (teaching of a correct bibliographic record, looking up for sources, etc).
At the seminar, there come into existance master's thesis in dogmatic theology.In a special way, the seminar is dedicated to the mariological researches (within the confines of the Cathedral of Mariology).
Department of Mariology studies and does research on the person of Blessed Virgin Mary and Her role in the History of Salvation. Particularly Department of Mariology takes interest in following topics:
- relationship of Mary to Three Persons of the Holy Trinity, especially Her relationship with the Holy Spirit.
- the place and role of Mary in the life of the Church, especially looking for most appropriate explanation of Her role in the theme of mediation.
- cult of the Blessed Virgin Mary and in special way its relationship to the history of Poland and Europe.
- role of the Marian Shrines and their significance in the social and religious life of our country and Europe.
- mariology of the great devotees of Blessed Virgin Mary, in a particular way Department dedicates its attention to the teaching of St. Maximilian Mary Kolbe and that of Servant of God Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński (Patron of our University).
