(in Polish) Hermeneutyczne zasady interpretacji Biblii WT-P-FP-HZIB
The purpose of the lecture is to introduce students to the complexity of interpretive criteria pertaining to the interpretation of Scripture. First, the place of biblical hermeneutics among the hermeneutics of other scientific disciplines, especially the humanities, will be shown. Next, hermeneutics, which is the basis of the historical-critical method of interpreting the Bible, will be widely discussed. Then, in turn, the specific features of hermeneutics in different epochs of history will be shown - starting with the hermeneutical principles governing the formation of the OT and NT Bibles through the period of the Apostolic Fathers and the Church Fathers. The following lectures will introduce biblical hermeneutics as applied by patristic exegesis, medieval exegesis, the Renaissance period, modern times and post-modern times. Finally, the hermeneutical principles of interpreting Scripture as applied in the Catholic Church today will be shown.
