Mary in the synoptic Gospels WT-FWD-MwE
The aim of the lecture is to familiarize students with current trends in exegesis of the pericopes of the synoptic Gospels, in which the figure of the Mother of God is mentioned. On the basis of a critical reading of the texts in the original language, the lecturer will comprehensively explain their Mariological capacity, inscribing this content in a broader Christological and ecclesiological context.

EK No. 1: The student has knowledge of the Mariological interpretation of Matt, Mk and Lk.
EK No. 2: He/she has the ability to independently interpret biblical texts and expand their interdisciplinary competences.
EK No. 3: He /she has the ability of looking for scientific inspirations in various areas of theological knowledge and sees the need for an interdisciplinary approach to his field.

Participation in classes: 12 hours. = 0.5 ECTS
Student's own work outside lectures: 10 hours = 0.5 ECTS

Assessment criteria
Written work on a given topic and final oral exam. The final assessment will be their result.
