The aim of the course is to familiarize the student with liturgical law, to develop the ability to apply liturgical regulations, and to improve competence in explaining liturgical rubrics.

EW - The student will be able to analyze the sources of the Church’s liturgical law and the documents of the Magisterium concerning the liturgy.
EU - The student will correctly quote the appropriate rubrics and Church documents when justifying liturgical decisions.
UK - The student will be able to evaluate liturgical situations taking into account the pastoral, cultural, and communal context.
Assessment criteria
KNOWLEDGE
5.0 – Very Good. The student demonstrates thorough knowledge of the sources of liturgical law and Church documents; is able to explain complex theological and legal issues; correctly interprets rubrics and liturgical norms.
4.5 – Good Plus. The student shows good knowledge of liturgical regulations; correctly understands the structure and hierarchy of documents; can explain most concepts and relationships.
4.0 – Good. The student understands basic concepts and documents of liturgical law; can identify main sources of norms; demonstrates logical understanding.
3.5 – Satisfactory Plus. The student knows general information but has difficulty presenting some topics precisely; knowledge is somewhat inconsistent.
3.0 – Satisfactory. The student has fragmented knowledge; knows only basic terms and documents; is unable to independently interpret more complex content.
2.0 – Unsatisfactory. The student has not acquired basic knowledge; does not know the sources of liturgical law; does not understand key concepts.
SKILLS
5.0 – Very Good. The student confidently applies liturgical norms to specific cases; correctly cites Church documents; provides well-reasoned justification for liturgical decisions.
4.5 – Good Plus. The student applies liturgical regulations in typical situations; provides solid reasoning; cites documents with minor inaccuracies.
4.0 – Good. The student can apply basic norms; attempts to justify decisions and cite documents, though not always precisely.
3.5 – Satisfactory Plus. The student struggles to apply norms independently; citations are imprecise; reasoning is not always convincing.
3.0 – Satisfactory. The student performs tasks with instructor support; is unable to justify decisions independently; rarely or imprecisely cites documents.
2.0 – Unsatisfactory. The student is unable to apply liturgical norms in practice; does not cite documents; fails to justify decisions.
SOCIAL COMPETENCES
5.0 – Very Good. The student demonstrates a high level of liturgical responsibility; evaluates pastoral situations with sensitivity and respect; actively promotes liturgical culture in the community.
4.5 – Good Plus. The student is engaged in building proper liturgical culture; understands the communal impact of liturgical decisions; shows openness to dialogue.
4.0 – Good. The student shows a correct attitude toward liturgical norms; considers pastoral and cultural context in his/her approach.
3.5 – Satisfactory Plus. The student understands the importance of norms, but struggles to relate them to community situations; attitude needs further development.
3.0 – Satisfactory. The student demonstrates limited reflection on the meaning of liturgy in the community; reacts mechanically without deeper understanding.
2.0 – Unsatisfactory. The student shows no sense of liturgical responsibility; does not understand the communal impact of liturgical actions; ignores the principles of dialogue and cooperation.
