The aim of the course is to familiarize the student with the history and theology of the Holy Mass. To acquire the ability to understand participation in the liturgy. To develop competence in explaining the rites of the Holy Mass.

W (Knowledge)
5 – very good – The student thoroughly and accurately understands the meaning of the rites of the Holy Mass, taking into account its theological, symbolic, and pastoral dimensions.
4 – good – The student correctly recognizes the meaning of the rites of the Mass, indicating its basic elements and liturgical significance.
3 – satisfactory – The student has a general knowledge of the rites of the Mass, but their statements are partially imprecise or superficial.
2 – insufficient – The student is unable to identify the rites of the Mass or provides incorrect or inconsistent information.
U (Skills)
5 – very good – The student is able to independently, precisely, and correctly define the meaning of the main elements of the Mass, using appropriate terminology.
4 – good – The student correctly defines the meaning of the main elements of the Mass, demonstrating good knowledge of the subject.
3 – satisfactory – The student defines the meaning of the elements of the Mass in a general manner, with the teacher’s assistance or while making minor errors.
2 – insufficient – The student is unable to define the meaning of the rites of the Mass or does so incorrectly.
K (Competence)
5 – very good – The student is able to independently assess the correctness of the rites of the Mass, referring to Church documents and justifying their position while taking into account the communal and spiritual dimensions.
4 – good – The student assesses the correctness of the rites of the Mass on the basis of known principles, with minor shortcomings in argumentation.
3 – satisfactory – The student demonstrates a basic ability to identify the rites of the Mass but requires the teacher’s support and does not always formulate accurate conclusions.
2 – insufficient – The student is unable to assess the correctness of the rites of the Mass, does not understand the principles, or is unable to apply them.
