1. Research and theoretical scopes of pastoral theology and social sciences, including psychology and psychotherapy.
2. Mature personality.
3. Mature religiosity.
4. Human development and developmental disorders.
5. Mental processes and their disorders (including the phenomenon of possession).
6. Religious thinking and magical thinking.
7. Addictions and their prevention.
8. Psychological, religious crisis. Noogenic neurosis.
9. Pathological sense of guilt. Scrupulousness.
10. Self-destructive behavior. Depression. Suicide.
11. Pastoral conversation. Pastoral communication.
12. Organization of pastoral care and psychological help.
13. Family/marriage counseling.

Learning outcomes
Knowledge (W16 and 21): the student recognizes contemporary threats to spiritual life and crisis situations (in the context of psychological theories, especially developmental and personality theories).
Skills (U 18 and 28): the student correctly interprets and explains complex and difficult social, emotional, personality phenomena and tries to find ways to counteract them in the spirit of christian values.
Competencies (K14 and 18): the student attempts to create psychological support programs as part of pastoral activity in the parish. By showing a creative way of thinking about supporting human development towards religious maturity, student takes actions aimed at active prevention of problematic behaviors and addictions.
Assessment criteria
For a very good grade, the student gained the knowledge of psychological or developmental problems of a person and understands their impact on spiritual and religious life. He also provides ways to remedy these problems and is able to show what it means to support a person on their path to religious maturity.
For a good / good plus grade (the difference concerns knowledge of specialist vocabulary), the student gained sufficient knowledge of psychological or developmental problems of a person and understands their impact on spiritual and religious life. He also provides ways to remedy these problems.
For a satisfactory / sufficient plus grade (the difference concerns the use of technical terms), the student gained minimal knowledge of psychological or developmental problems of a person and understands their impact on spiritual and religious life.
