Learning outcomes
The student has a basic knowledge of the terminology concerning the basics of the mediatization of religion. He has a fundamental knowledge of social institutions and an advanced knowledge of contemporary politics.
The student is able to use the terminology in the field of research on the foundations of the mediatization of religion. The student, using adequate tools and theoretical knowledge, independently recognizes the mechanisms of functioning of the processes of mediatization of religion and properly uses knowledge in the area of the broadly understood relationship between religion, media and politics, as well as in the discipline of social communication and media sciences. He is able to interpret social phenomena using scientific methods.
The student is prepared to work independently. He performs the tasks entrusted to him carefully and on time. He is prepared for independent and team research work in the basic field of research on the mediatization of religion.
The total amount of student work includes reading the indicated scientific texts, preparing for the final written test. Completion of the course is related to the receipt of 2 ECTS (for foreign students coming under the Erasmus+ program 6 ECTS, provided that they also participate in the individual tutorial). Mid-term work is planned. Attendance at classes is mandatory.
Assessment criteria
The final grade consists of attendance (10 points), completion of the midterm paper (20 points) and the final test (70 points).
A total of 100 points.
Grades:
very good 91 - 100 points;
good plus 81 - 90 points;
good 71 - 80 points;
sufficient plus - 61 - 70 points;
sufficient - 51 - 60 points.
