Student workload:

The subject learning outcomes:
1. The student knows the specifics of journalistic work and contemporary journalistic genres, and understands the functions they perform. (IN.)
2. The student is able to recognize individual journalistic forms present in contemporary media, assess their compliance with species standards. (AT)
3. The student can independently prepare various texts that meet the basic requirements of various forms of journalism. (AT)
4. The student organizes journalistic work in order to optimize the activities in terms of preparing a specific publication. (AT)
5. The student remains criticized in the assessment of contemporary journalistic publications. (K)
Assessment criteria
Method of verification of learning outcomes: final colloquium and project implementation (presentation) commissioned during the semester.
Permissible 2 unexcused absences and 1 justified.
EK No. 1:
- for grade 2 - the student does not know the specifics of journalistic work and contemporary journalistic genres and does not understand their functions;
- for the grade 3 - the student is able to characterize the specificity of journalistic work at the basic level and list modern journalistic genres, but he can not indicate their function;
- for grade 4 - the student describes the specificity of journalistic work and journalistic genres and their functions, but does not do it smoothly;
- for grade 5 - the student fluently and using practical examples describes the specificity of journalistic work and journalistic genres their functions.
EK No. 2:
- for grade 2 - the student does not recognize journalistic forms present in contemporary media and can not assess their compliance with the genre standards;
- for grade 3 - student recognizes journalistic forms present in contemporary media, but can not assess their compliance with species standards;
- for grade 4 - the student recognizes journalistic forms present in contemporary media and assesses their compliance with species standards, but it is sometimes incomplete; selective and non-exhaustive;
- for the grade 5 - the student has no difficulties with the proper classification of forms present in contemporary media; is able to reliably and completely assess their compliance with species standards.
EK 3:
- for grade 2 - the student can not prepare any texts that meet the basic requirements of various journalistic forms;
- for grade 3 - the student is able to implement only the simplest forms of journalistic expression that meet the criteria for journalistic publications (news, press release, preview of the event);
- for grade 4 - the student can prepare texts with various genre properties, but his works do not stand out with their originality;
- for the grade 5 - the student is able to prepare a text with any specific genres, and his works are original (in terms of the subject, the language used and the composition of the text).
EK No. 4:
- for grade 2 - the student is not able to organize journalistic work in order to optimize the activities in terms of a specific publication;
- for the grade 3 - the student attempts to optimize the work in terms of efficient preparation of the publication, but it is difficult to achieve the goals: he has problems with time discipline, limitations as to the length of the text and its efficient composition;
- for grade 4 - the student can organize his work well, but in the so-called favorable conditions; its efficiency is variable;
- for grade 5 - the student copes perfectly with the organization of work, which results in the original texts meeting the requirements for various journalistic publications.
EK No. 5:
- for grade 2 - the student can not analyze the journalistic publications;
- for grade 3 - the student can distinguish journalistic publications, but can not assess their possible deficiencies, non-compliance with species standards and indicate the possibilities of improving their quality;
- for grade 4 - the student distinguishes journalistic publications and indicates their possible "strengths and weaknesses", but is not always able to suggest the changes desired in the texts;
- for grade 5 - student flawlessly distinguishes and evaluates journalistic publications and suggests solutions to improve their quality.

EK nr 1: informative and conversational lecture, case study, reading.
EK No. 2: conversational lecture, case study; problem discussion with the use of activating methods.
EK No. 3: conversational lecture, problem and evaluation discussion.
