Cultural and religious codes in the media WT-DKS-P-FKK
Topics range:
1. The notion of a cultural sign and code; context culture, semantic and communicative hum, ways of understanding mythical, biblical and literary contexts in the media.
2. Greek myths as cultural media messages - on the example of Twitter and Facebook.
3. Mythical phraseological relationships in traditional media (e.g. Ariadne thread, collect laurels, Charon's boat, Tantalum torments, Trojan horse, Phoenix from ashes, Promethean rebellion, Damocles sword, Augia's stable, apple of discord, etc.).
4. Reinterpretation of myths in reportages - on selected examples.
5. The Bible as a source of European culture. Biblical symbols in press interviews.
6. Old Testament phraseological relationships as a media relay of cultural meanings (e.g., the Paradise tree, the Tower of Babel, the bosom of Abraham, manna from heaven, Solomonic judgment, the Promised Land, etc.).
7. New Testament phraseological relationships on social media and on Internet portals (e.g., Judas' silver coins, Job's news, the prodigal son, crown of thorns, widow's penny, wash hands, etc.).
8. Biblical phrases and allusions at press conferences of politicians (on selected examples).
9. Biblisms in nationwide opinion weeklies.
10. Biblical allusions in literature on the example of the works of Kochanowski, Norwid, and Miłosz.
11. Works of Saint. John Paul II as a relay of Polish tradition and culture ("Memory and Identity", "Roman Triptych", fragments of speeches and homilies).
12. "You have to be a fox or a lion" - the art of understanding literary contexts in the media.
13. Mr. Cogito's cultural travels and codes in the poetry of Jarosław Marek Rymkiewicz and their reflection in the media.
14. Cultural codes in modern prose (selection).
14. Understanding time as the essence of culture; dress type as a convention and cultural code; body language as a transmitter of codes and meanings.
