Objectives of the course: practical possibilities of using new media in educational and media activities; this involves learning about new media - obtaining information on how new media shape culture - how they affect the mentality of modern man, - showing the Internet as an important expression of cultural changes, - the ability to use the language of new media;

EK 1 - knows and understands the basic principles and methods of analysis and interpretation of various cultural products emerging in the world of new media
EK 2 - is able to recognize and then conduct a critical analysis and interpretation of various types of cultural products emerging in the world of new media in order to determine their meanings, social impact and place in the historical and cultural process
EK 3 - is convinced of the meaning, value and need to undertake journalistic activities in the cyber social environment; is ready to take on professional challenges; demonstrates activity, makes an effort and is characterized by perseverance in implementing individual and team professional activities in the field of journalism in the world of new media.
Student workload:
30 hrs. - active participation in the lecture
15 hrs. - preparation for the lecture and completing recommended home readings
10 hrs. - preparation of an analysis of a selected issue from cyberculture
5 hrs. - consultations with the lecturer
60 hrs. - total
Assessment criteria
Form of assessment: Assessment test. The form with the test is available during the hours provided for in the class schedule. After this time, it is not possible to send answers.
In the case of students within the ERASMUS program, the subject is assessed in the form of tutoring after agreeing on the details with the class instructor.
Failure to take the test during the designated hours will be tantamount to failing the final test, and consequently, lack of grounds for passing the subject.
The condition for passing the subject is to achieve all the assumed learning outcomes.
A positive grade for the subject is determined by the number of points obtained from:
