mid-term work completed 1 ECTS | Term 2023/24_L: The student has basic knowledge of the basics of media content analysis. He/she knows the extended terminology from this area of social communication and media sciences, knows the sources, the most important AZ researchers, their research concepts and knows the empirical research already conducted in this area, both in Poland and Western Europe. (W)
The student is able to use the terminology from the field of media content analysis. Using adequate tools and theoretical knowledge, the student independently acquires the appropriate competences in research on the media image of people and institutions using the content analysis method. (S)
The student is prepared to work independently, performs assigned tasks carefully and on time, is prepared for independent and team scientific work in the basic scope of research on media content analysis. (K)
The total student workload includes the completion of all exercises and attendance at classes. Passing the subject is associated with receiving 2 ECTS. A mid-semester paper is planned.
