(in Polish) Sanktuaria maryjne Europy WT-CTR-SM
The class, consisting of thirty lecture hours, will be divided into two main modules. In the first of these (14 lecture hours), the professor will recount in chronological, geographical and theological terms the development of Marian devotion from New Testament times to the present. The second module (16 lecture hours) will be interactive and practical. In it, each student will present an author's tourist-pilgrimage tour of Marian shrines in a pre-designated area of Europe, determined by the professor.

1. The Old Testament premises of Mariology.
2. Mary in the New Testament.
3. Mary in the apocrypha.
4. Mary in the teaching of the Fathers of the Church.
5-7. Chronology, geography and theology of the development of Marian devotion in Europe - from antiquity to modern times.
8. Marian shrines in the countries: Great Britain, Ireland, Iceland.
9. Marian shrines in the countries: Moldova, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic.
10. Marian shrines in the countries: Spain, Portugal, Andorra.
11. Marian shrines in the countries: Baltic States (Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia) and Scandinavia.
12. Marian shrines in the countries: Countries on the Balkan Peninsula (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Montenegro, Greece (especially the island of Tinos), Kosovo, Northern Macedonia, Serbia, Slovenia, part of Turkey).
13. Marian shrines in the countries: Germany, Austria, Switzerland.
14. Marian shrines in the countries: Italy (including Sardinia), Malta, Cyprus.
15. Marian shrines in the countries: France (including Corsica), Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg.

Learning outcomes
EK 1 At the end of the course, the student has a structured and in-depth knowledge of the topic Marian shrines of Europe.
EK 2 In terms of skills, the student analyzes and critiques information from various sources on the subject matter of the class. The student acquires the ability to prepare a pilgrimage tour of the Marian shrines of Europe and is able to convey the relevant thematic knowledge package to tourists and pilgrims.
EK 3 In terms of social competence, the student is open to different points of view, creative in personal use of the acquired knowledge and skills to prepare tourist-pilgrimage routes in other thematic and geographical ranges.
Assessment criteria
The criterion for evaluation is the degree to which the student realizes the learning outcomes indicated above (EK1, EK 2 and EK 3).
Verification of the learning outcomes will take place during the class (student activity) and on the basis of the prepared presentation of the indicated tourist-pilgrimage route through the Marian shrines of Europe. The final grade will be the resultant of these two components.
