During the course, students will learn about the concept of elites, definitions of elite groups and activities of the elite in the modern world. The lectures will present the theory of elites by G. Moska, W. Parneto and others. Attention was paid to the Polish national elite and family life of this group, to the role of the Roman Catholic Church in formulating the elite groups of the Polish community. The activities of the elite in other time periods were presented; Polish elite in the Polish community. Analyzed political, economic, military, bureaucratic, ideological and other elite. In modern times, analyzes of the rare and opposition elites and the counter-elites have been presented.
