Student learns about various MTU variants and their authors.
Student learns about the types of data and the possibilities of collecting/generating them

Metody i kryteria oceniania:
The main principles of the Grounded Theory Methodology are presented during the first eight lectures.
To learn and fully understand the methodology, students should attend at least five lectures held in October and November.
Starting from December, students will present their own projects based on the Grounded Theory Methodology. The task consists in designing a research project grounded in the assigned readings and the knowledge gained during the lectures, and presenting it in the form of a PowerPoint presentation (or using another appropriate program).
The research topic must be approved by the instructor.
By 14 November, students are required to propose their topic in the designated Excel file and sign up for a specific presentation date:

Very good grade (5) -student knows all MTU methods and techniques, can explain the differences in its variants with reference to important figures and names, knows the full terminology, can plan a research project with the appropriate selection of materials, methods, data collection techniques and their analysis
Good grade (4) - knows most MTU methods and techniques, can explain the differences in its variants, knows terminology, can plan a research project
