Basics of Research Methodology WSE-EKN-PMBD
The aim of the course is to familiarise students with the basic principles of scientific research methodology, including the process of developing research hypotheses, designing research, selecting analytical methods and tools, and interpreting results in the context of economic sciences.
As part of the course, students will learn about the classification of research methods, the stages of the research process, data collection techniques, and basic tools for quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Students will learn the principles of research ethics, how to formulate research problems and objectives, and the methodology for creating coherent scientific reports and research articles.
The course also aims to develop the ability to independently design simple research projects, select appropriate research methods, analyse literature, and critically evaluate the research results of other authors.
