Education and counseling - psychologist as trainer WPS-PS-EPT
DStudents during the course will receive knowledge of:
1. training needs analysis
2. goal setting
3. designing training on the basis of needs analysis and objectives
4. working with a group during a training session
5. basic practices of workshop preparation based on the Evidence Based approach
Analysing and preparing training offers.
Each student will also have the opportunity to conduct a 60-minute workshop, which will be discussed by the trainer

Knowledge: students will receive knowledge of preparing a training needs analysis, setting training objectives, designing a workshop, working with a group and preparing and analysing training offers.
Skills: students will be prepared to design and conduct a training process from needs analysis to evaluation.
Attitudes: students will be able to design and organise training on psychological problems, to use the scientific knowledge of psychology in a practical way and to carry out training efficiently as a trainer or facilitator.
Assessment criteria
1. Prepare a workshop scenario, workshop materials for participants and conduct a 1h workshop for the group.
The evaluation will be based on:
- Precise definition of the purpose of the workshop and the objectives of the workshop exercises/activities
- Adequacy of exercises to the objective, selection of content
- Manner of working with the group (e.g. contact with participants, management of group energy, clarity of the message)
- Conformity of workshop delivery to the script
- Literature review
2. Attendance - max. 2 absences unexcused.
