Institutions of Legal Protection WP-PRZ-OOP
The course aims to provide systematic knowledge of the system of legal protection bodies, their constitutional and statutory foundations, organisation and operating principles. It explains the position of individual bodies and institutions within the system of legal protection and the relationships between them.
Upon completion of the course, students describe the main models and forms of legal protection, outline the tasks and powers of the bodies covered, and explain their importance for safeguarding individual rights and freedoms. Students distinguish between the administration of justice, the prosecution of offences, oversight of compliance with the law and the provision of legal assistance.
The course prepares students for further legal studies requiring familiarity with the structure and operating principles of legal protection institutions.
