1. The EU as an international organization. Membership in the EU. Withdrawal from the EU. Legislative competences of the EU institutions. General principles of EU law. Relations between EU law and national law.
2. Objectives of the EU. Internal market. Economic and monetary union. EU citizenship.
3. Free movement of goods (1). General outline.
4. Free movement of goods (2). Prohibition of quantitative restrictions; prohibition of measures having equivalent effect.
5. Free movement of goods (3). Exceptions.
6. Free movement of persons (1). Workers. General outline. Restrictions on the free movement of people. Measures in the field of social security.
7. Free movement of persons (2). The right of establishment. General outline. Restrictions on the freedom of establishment.
8. Free movement of people (3). The right of establishment. Mutual recognition of qualifications. The concept of a company.
9. Freedom to provide services (1). General outline.
10. Freedom to provide services (2). Limitations and Exclusions.
11. Freedom to provide services (3). Relation to the free movement of goods and the freedom of establishment.
12. Free movement of capital and payments (1). General outline.
13. Free movement of capital and payments (2). Restrictions on freedom
