- Analyze short Stoic texts
- Connect ancient ideas to contemporary issues
- Understand key theses of the Polish School of Classical Philosophy
- Develop structured philosophical dialogue skills
Weekly Structure
Part A: Stoic Text Lab with close reading and group discussion.
Part B: Lecture and discussion on the Polish School of Classical Philosophy.
Post-class: Submit 1–2 page reflection.
Assessment
Participation in discussions and group work.
Regular reflection notes after each class.
Overall course credit is based on engagement with Marcus Aurelius texts.
Readings
Primary: Marcus Aurelius, Meditations (free translation on Teams).
