The purpose of the lecture:
The aim of the lecture is to familiarize students with the legal bases of environmental protection in international perspective.
The scope of issues discussed during the lecture on general issues:
- relation of international law to national and EU law
- development of international environmental law
- international institutions dealing with environmental protection
- international instruments for environmental protection
and issues related to the protection of individual environmental components: atmosphere and climate, biodiversity and waste management.
