Philosophy of law WK-S-FP-W
Presenting students with a broad spectrum of legal reality beyond the positive words and asking questions and seeking answers to basic questions about the law: why the law, what is the law, what are its bases.
Lectures on the philosophy of law intend to make students be interested in the problems of human activity 'sub specie iuris'. Classes focus mainly on understanding obligatory binding forms of human activity. In addition, they aim to to ask questions about law and search for its grounds. The classes examine the law as a fact and its contents. The issues raised concern to: the relationship between law and justice, the analysis of the formula of justice, the rule of law, attempts to define what is natural and positive and reciprocal relationship between natural law and positive law.
