The lecture will show the content of kan. 1103 KPK treating coercion and fear as a defect of conjugal consent and the cause (title) of the invalidity of marriage. He will also present an analysis and broad commentary on this defect of conjugal consent. It will also point to the application of this norm of canon law to the invalidity of marriage for coercion and fear. Will bring the marriage agreement as the essence of marriage and its special legal protection. It will show what is and what is physical and moral coercion and fear, what is the qualified freedom required to marry, and especially esteem estimation and how to look in command of the invalidity process of marriage under this title.

Knowledge:
He knows the definition of the content of the legal norm contained in can. 1103 KOK and is able to explain it on the merits and procedural grounds, and to indicate and determine its influence on its validity. He distinguishes between coercion and fear, and can indicate what conditions he must fulfill in order to be considered as the cause of the invalidity of a marriage, and to indicate the means by which the marriage can be annulled.
Skills:
It properly interprets the existence of coercion and fear or non-existence in the process of marrying. Recognizes situations that have led to compulsion or fear. He knows the norms of canon law and doctrine in demonstrating the existence of coercion and fear, the sanction of marriage, or the process of annulling the nullity of a marriage.
competence:
He understands the need to deepen Christian anthropology and canonical reflection on marriage, and in particular on the coercion and fear of which canon. 1103 KPK. He is able to communicate with the environment about coercion and fear in the process of marrying.
Practical placement
The lectures will discuss some of the judgments of the Rome Tribunal in matrimonial matters relating to coercion and fear.
