Nowadays, the most popular medium for Polish drama is the radio and television stage. Plays by Polish authors are performed at the Polish Redia Theater (and broadcast on four channels: a radio play on the radio station "Jedynka", an evening with a radio play on "Dwójka", a theater session on "Trójka", a literary evening on "RDC") and at the Television Theater. For ten years, the "Teatroteka" series has been created, which consists of several dozen television shows based exclusively on new texts produced by the Feature Film and Documentary Film Studio. The cooperation of young authors, theater and television directors, as well as sound designers has led to the renewal of conventional forms of radio plays and television plays. The development of these interesting genres is also influenced by technological innovations, thanks to which new sound spaces (radio plays in the 5.1 system) and visual spaces can emerge ( a show on the border between film and performance). These artistically created spaces are subject to interesting semiotic and anthropological interpretation - both of these directions will be chosen in our classes. Playwrights and directors are also inspired by the achievements of contemporary composers, creators of sound design, comics and video art. Polish contemporary drama is also subject to media convergence, becoming similar to modern forms of radio, television and Internet media, which is why their implementation brings interesting intermedia effects. In this respect, during our classes we will analyze the most original radio plays and television shows created in the last decade. We will deal with creativity, among others: Magdalena Drab, Anna Wakulik, Zyta Rudzka, Malina Prześluga, Marta Rebzda, Mariusz Bieliński, Artur Grabowski, Tomasz Man, Wojciech Tomczyk, Rafał Wojasiński, Michał Zdunik. |
