Learning outcomes
Learning outcomes:
1. Knowledge - upon completion of the course, the student knows what a research problem is and the main methods in environmental research.
2. Skills - the student is able to formulate his/her opinion in academic language, knows how to paraphrase and how to formulate a research question and hypothesis.
3. Competences - the student applies knowledge of academic writing to the chosen dissertation topic. In addition, the student is able to distinguish facts from false information.
Assessment criteria
Course activity and active participation in class - 40% of the final mark; final presentation = 60%.
