BA seminar: History of Philosophy 2 WF-FI-13-SEMLHF2
The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the principles of writing a dissertation and to equip it with the skills of the historian of philosophy. Workshops will be held on the analysis of the philosophical text, correct interpretation of the philosophical text. Students will also learn the rules of writing abstracts and syntheses, and learn how to correctly formulate their own statements in the history of philosophy.
Then, the student will learn to write a philosophically correct philosophic text. It will familiarize with the principles of making footnotes, bibliography, the composition of the composition of the text, and also the correct structure of thesis as a whole.

KNOWLEDGE
The student knows the history of the discipline of philosophy, knows the issues and principles of practice, known representatives familiar with the arguments for the need uporawiania history of philosophy.
SKILLS
Student analyzes and interprets the philosophical texts, actually sets contained in these issues, assess their value, able to point epoch and philosophical currents, knows how to present specific problems in a paper or presentation, take substantial discussion of the history of philosophy.
POWERS
Student maintains openness to arguments of recognizing and rejecting the need for doing the history of philosophy, understands the need for research into the history of philosophy.

Assessment criteria
The final assessment includes:
- class attendance and preparation for classes (doing homework, class work, active participation in classes) - 1/3 of grade
- handing over the diploma thesis (2/3 of the grade)
