Assessment criteria
The prerequisite for receiving credit in the course is the preparation of a thesis and its presentation in class.
Knowledge:
Grade 2 (ndst): verification indicates that the graduate has no basic knowledge of environmental engineering.
grade 3 (dst): verification indicates that the graduate has only basic knowledge of environmental engineering, but does not meet the criteria for a higher grade.
grade 3.5 (dst +): verification indicates that the graduate has basic knowledge of environmental gengineering, but does not meet the criteria for a higher grade.
grade 4 (db): verification indicates that the graduate knows the issues related to environmental engineering well, is able to use the knowledge to solve engineering problems, but does not meet the criteria for a higher grade.
grade 4.5 (db +): verification indicates that the graduate knows almost fully the issues related to environmental engineering, is able to use the knowledge to solve engineering problems, but does not meet the criteria for a higher grade.
Grade 5 (very good): verification indicates that the graduate has mastered the knowledge of environmental engineering to a very good degree and has expanded his knowledge with further important issues.
Skills:
grade 2 (ndst): verification indicates that the graduate is not able to use specialist literature, is unable to assess the situation from the point of view of environmental engineering.
grade 3 (dst): verification indicates that the graduate is only able to assess engineering problems in the field of environmental engineering on the basis of professional literature, but does not meet the criteria for a higher grade.
grade 3.5 (dst +): verification indicates that the graduate is able to assess engineering problems in the field of environmental engineering in the basic scope, but does not meet the criteria for a higher grade.
grade 4 (db): verification indicates that the graduate is able to assess engineering problems in the field of environmental engineering well on the basis of specialist literature, but does not meet the criteria for a higher grade.
grade 4.5 (db +): verification indicates that the graduate is almost fully able to assess engineering problems in the field of environmental engineering based on professional literature, but does not meet the criteria for a higher grade.
grade 5 (very good): verification indicates that the graduate is very good at assessing engineering problems in the field of environmental engineering on the basis of professional literature.
Competences:
Grade 2 (not sufficient): verification indicates that the graduate is unable to see the importance of technological knowledge for environmental protection and the importance of environmental engineering for the environment.
grade 3 (sufficient): verification indicates that the graduate has a very poor understanding of the importance of knowledge in environmental engineering, but does not meet the criteria for a higher grade.
grade 3.5 (sufficient +): verification indicates that the graduate poorly understands the importance of knowledge in environmental engineering, but does not meet the criteria for a higher grade.
grade 4 (good): verification indicates that the graduate knows well the importance of knowledge in environmental engineering for effective environmental protection, can explain to others this meaning, but does not meet the criteria for a higher grade.
grade 4.5 (good +): verification indicates that the graduate knows almost fully the importance of knowledge in environmental engineering for effective environmental protection, can explain this meaning to others, but does not meet the criteria for a higher grade.
Grade 5 (very good): verification indicates that the graduate knows very well the importance of knowledge in environmental engineering for solving environmental problems, he is able to effectively resolve dilemmas in this area.
The final grade is the average grade for the written work and the presentation of the work.
Failure to submit the diploma thesis within the prescribed period shall result in the student being struck off the list of students and the grade ndst.
