The subject of the exercises is the presentation of the developed concept of the brownfield revitalization project. Its scope includes: selection of a degraded area, its analysis, valorization methods, environmental impact assessment.
Przedmiotem ćwiczeń jest prezentacja opracowanej koncepcji projektu rewitalizacji terenów zdegradowanych. Jej zakres obejmuje: wybór obszaru zdegradowanego, jego analizę, metody waloryzacji, ocenę oddziaływania na środowisko.

Learning outcomes
Objective effect No. 1 - The graduate is able to use their knowledge to understand the complex problems of revitalization and development of degraded areas. Can use legal acts, scientific and technical studies to price and critical analysis of the state of degradation and directions of revitalization (IS2P_U01).
Objective effect No. 2 – The graduate is able to communicate with specialists in various fields in order to obtain additional information and opinions. Is able to formulate and monitor the implemented revitalization goals, such as: social, economic affecting the improvement of living conditions of residents, protection of natural and historical resources (IS2P_U05).
Objective effect No. 3 - The graduate is able to use his knowledge - formulate and solve complex and unusual problems in the field of development and revitalization of degraded areas and innovatively perform tasks in unpredictable conditions by using a foreign language at the B2 level and specialist terminology (IS2P_U07).
Assessment criteria
The evaluation criterion will be the scope and quality of the developed concept of the development project for the selected brownfield site. It will consist of partial marks for the presentation and description of the following parts of the assignment.
1. Diagnosis of the revitalization area. (up to 10 points)
2. The communal revitalization program in the commune's development strategy. (up to 10 points)
3. Purpose of revitalization and directions of action. (up to 10 points)
4. Planned revitalization project. (up to 10 points)
5. Development plan for the revitalization area. (up to 10 points)
6. Results of revitalization. (up to 10 points)
7. Framework financial cost of revitalization. Partners and stakeholders as participants in the revitalization process. (up to 10 points)
8. Managing the implementation of the revitalization program. (up to 10 points)
