Learning outcomes
Knowledge:
1. Student is acquainted with ecological factors, which influents on the development of a plant cover, understands basic biological processes;
2. Student classifies types of phytocenosis correctly, is able to characterize chosen Polish plant communities and is acquainted with connections between the phytosociology and other natural disciplines;
3. Student has the knowledge of basic phytosociological terms, is familiarizing with rules of the syntaxonomy;
4. Student is acquainted with chosen research methods, which are used to characterize plant communities.
Skills:
1. Student understands the literature about phytosociological researches, in particular is able to recognize chosen Polish plant communities;
2. Student uses available sources of information about the plant cover, including electronic sources;
3. Student can prepare and present an oral presentation on detailed issues in Polish plant communities.
Social competences:
1. Student understands the importance of knowledge in solving cognitive and practical problems in the range of phytosociology.
