Laboratory in organic chemistry WB-BI-24-01
To teach students basic techniques used in organic laboratory, every student is going to carry out 5 experiments
1) synthesis of acetanilide
2) nitration of acetanilide
3) synthesis of buthyl acetate
4) synthesis of aspirin
5) synthesis of tetraphenylporphyrin
evaluation method: test + report for every experiment

ECTS: 90 hr./30hr. = 3
Assessment criteria
Final score is based on the results of:
1) entry tests concerning the exercises (rules and working methods),
2) written reports describing each exercise (containing problem description, obtained results and calculations)
-3) final test concerning all exercises and used laboratory technics
