Basics of interpersonal communication UKSW-P-DoRo-PKI
Communication elements and techniques present in effective models of interpersonal communication will be presented: those of T. Gordon, M. Rosenberg and W. Miller and S. Rolnick. On the basis of these models, common elements will be identified and reflected in the personalistic standard presented in various personalistic trends.

Learning outcomes
1). KNOWLEDGE - the student has knowledge of the psychological and philosophical foundations of constructive interpersonal communication
2). SKILLS - the student is able to listen in a supportive way in the interpersonal contact and is able to activate latent abilities of the other person,
3). COMPETENCES - the student is open to the other person, accepts him/her, cares for his/her welfare, cooperates with him/her, is able to adapt to the needs of the person requiring support.
Assessment criteria
for the mark 5: shows perfect knowledge of issues concerning the essence of constructive interpersonal communication, understands and is able to explain the meaning of treating another person as a subject, properly understood acceptance and empathic listening, is able to present and discuss examples of models of shaping interpersonal relations, which use the basic and essential elements of constructive interpersonal communication
- for 4: knows the issues concerning the essence of constructive interpersonal communication, knows how to list and describe basic features of subjective treatment of another person and properly understood acceptance, knows various techniques of proper interpersonal communication
- for the mark 3: is able to name basic elements of constructive interpersonal communication, one of them can be described in more detail, is able to name examples of using basic and essential elements of constructive interpersonal communication, one of them can be described in more detail
