(in Polish) John Paul II’s impact on the Post-1989 international transformation of Central Europe SzD-ANG-4
The course focuses on the history and political geography of Central Europe in the 20th century, with particular emphasis on the influence of the teaching and pontificate of John Paul II.
During the classes, conducted in a conversational (tutoring) format and based on assigned readings, the most important political, economic, and social events in the region will be discussed. The course will also analyze the issue of Central Europe’s regional identity, its geopolitical position, and processes of social transformation.
