Grammar: Tenses review, passive voice, gerund, infinitive, question formation, narrative tenses, expressing future – review.
Academic skills: reading the extracts of literature, reading the short texts from the newspapers and magazines, taking part in a discussion: expressing opinion, making a presentation; distinguishing between and use features of and informal language.
Assessment: Active participation, Systematic assessment on the basis of class attendance (student can be excused twice in a semester), homework assignments; passing 3 mini tests 1 grammar test and 2 lexical tests; passing a written test at the end of the semester.
