Course content:
Vocabulary: Celebrities, interviews, personality; medical problems, first aid; the future; national stereotypes, cultural differences; air travel.
Grammar: question formation, auxiliary verbs, comparatives, present perfect simple and continuous, using adjectives as nouns, adjective order, narrative tenses, past perfect continuous, so / such… that, adverbs and adverbial phrases
Academic skills: taking part in a discussion: asking for opinions, making a short presentation
Assessment: Continuous assessment on the basis of class attendance (no more than two unjustified absences in a semester), active participation, preparation for classes; a written test at the end of the semester.
