Generative Anthropology in Contexts and Texts WH-KON-GenAnt
The objective of the class is to present the hypothesis of the origin of language and culture by Eric Gans. Generative Anthropology (GA) as he calls it, will be interpreted in selected representative contexts. We begin with the basic concepts and assumptions of the theory, moving on to a model account of the scene of origin and its philosophical underpinnings, to then come to the application of GA in the masterpieces of classical English literature and its innovative interpretations of recent times.
