Efekty kształcenia
1. Knowledge - after the course student knows main theoretical issues discussed in environmental ethics. He/she knows, what is anthropocentrism, biocentrism, ecosystem ethics, and animal ethics. He/she is knowledgeable about main concepts and representatives of environmental ethics.
2. Skills - student is able to understand moral obligations towards nature, he/she is able to give arguments for nature protection from perspective of main normative theories (deontology, and consequentialism).
3. competencies - student applies moral competences in his/her actions, and perceives nature as a subject of his/her moral choices. He/she is informed consumer. Moreover, student is able to discriminate facts from fake information in terms of environmental issues.
Kryteria oceniania
activity during classes = 20 % of the final grade; essay on the topic connected with environmental ethics = 80 % of the final grade.
