Philosophy of Religion WT-SSTA-SP
The main goal of the course is to acquire the method of scholarly work on the level of post Master and doctoral studies. This goal is realized by analysis of selected source texts and the periodical evaluation/discussion of student’s work. Lecture and analysis of the source texts should allow the student to acquire the more profound knowledge on the problems at the field of borderlines between philosophy and theology. Proposed topics are touching historical background of relations between philosophy and theology as well as modern dialogue between culture and religion.

STL_U01 – Student is able to search, analyze and select, estimate and integrate an information using various philosophical and theological texts, and formulate critical judgements using general theological knowledge related mainly to understanding of man and his relation to God in modern culture and the role of religion in modern society.
STL_U02 – Student has general scholarly abilities to analyze the philosophical and theological texts, is able to use scholarly methods and tools to properly understand and explain given topics.
STL_U03 – Student has ability of interpreting main sources important for the research at the fields of theology in relation to philosophical and cultural issues, using the source languages (Latin)
STL_K02- Student understands the need of intellectual and spiritual formation and the role of reason in intellectual and spiritual formation during all human life. Student is able to inspire and organize the process of learning for the others especially at the field of dialogue between culture and religion and can critically continue his own learning process and abilities, in wide interdisciplinary range of philosophy, religion and culture.

STL_U01 – Student has excellent ability to search, analyze and select, estimate and integrate an information using various philosophical and theological texts, and formulate accurate and critical judgements using general theological knowledge related mainly to understanding of man and his relation to God in modern culture and the role of religion in modern society.
STL_U02 – Student has excellent scholarly abilities to analyze the philosophical and theological texts, is able to use scholarly methods and tools to properly understand and explain given topics in excellent way
STL_U03 – Student has excellent ability of interpreting main sources important for the research at the fields of theology in relation to philosophical and cultural issues, using the source languages (Latin)
STL_K02- Student understands very well the need of intellectual and spiritual formation and the role of reason in intellectual and spiritual formation during all human life. Student is excellent in inspiring and organizing the process of learning for the others especially at the field of dialogue between culture and religion and can constantly and critically continue his own learning process and abilities, in wide interdisciplinary range of philosophy, religion and culture.

Bibliography
Bibliography is fluently selected depending on actual problems of dialogue between culture and religion, important new publication related to the field of studies, and related to the actual dissertations on which students are working.
