(in Polish) Sakrament pokuty i pojednania WT-SST-SAP
The aim of the course is to familiarise students with the evolution of the Church's penitential practice over the centuries based on an analysis of the liturgical books containing the relevant rites. This will allow them to distinguish the main factors that have influenced the formation of the various forms of penance. Particular emphasis will be placed on discussing the post-conciliar liturgical reform, which gave rise to three forms of celebration of the sacrament of Penance. Students will thus become familiar during the lectures with the pattern of the celebration of the sacrament of penance in the post-conciliar liturgy and the theology of the sacrament that flows from the lex orandi of the Church. Students hone their skills in using theological knowledge in designing the liturgical space so that the place where this sacrament is celebrated is properly exposed. The lectures also aim to broaden students' knowledge of the rites of penance in the Eastern and Protestant Churches.
