Seminar on methodology of patristic studies. It concerns the theological content of the works of ancient Christian authors. The program is aimed at students interested in Christian antiquity.

After the finish of the course
the knowledge:
EK 1 – he has a deep knowledge of the relationship between theology and other fields of science, especially the humanities, social and law, allowing them to integrate perspectives relevant to some scientific disciplines (TMA_W12);
the skills:
EK 2 – he cans independently search for, analyze, evaluate, select and integrate the informations with the use of various sources and formulate on the basis of the criticisms with the use of theological knowledge (TMA_U01);
EK 3 – he has basic research skills in the auxiliary disciplines of theology (TMA_U03);
the social competence:
EK 4 – he is aware of the complexity of reality and understands the need for an interdisciplinary approach to the solving of problems (TMA_K05).

Participation in the classes: 30 hours
The student's own work: 70 hours
Total: 100 hours = 4 ECTS
