Social Mariology WT-FWD-MS
The lecture reflects on the social significance of the figure of Mary and develops lines of social Mariology. Among other things, it discusses the question about the method: how to theoretically deal with the new problem; presents the Magisterium's position on social Mariology; presents a historical picture of the impact of Marian piety on various societies; touches on the biblical basis of social mariology; contains a study that was not previously addressed: discovering the social significance of the four Marian dogmas; concerns the issue of the potential of Marian piety.

After completing the module (subject) and confirming the achievement of learning outcomes:
The student has depth knowledge of social mariology. Knows and understands basic problems, concepts, key issues regarding selected aspects of the discussed field.
The student has structured knowledge covering the issues of theology and Mariology (with particular emphasis on social Mariology) and its specificity.
The student has depth knowledge about the connections of the discussed issues with various fields of knowledge, especially with other fields of theology, psychology and sociology.
The student is able to solve simple Mariological problems.
He can determine the impact of Marian worship on social and religious life and carry out their critical analysis.
