Knowledge:
The student understands the nature of religion lessons. He knows what is the difference between parish catechesis and teaching religion at school. Lists and characterizes the problems related to religion lessons.
Skills:
The student analyzes the basic assumptions of religious education at school. He analyzes the problems of teaching religion at school, especially in relation to parish catechesis. Uses his knowledge in various meetings and groups.
Competences:
Appreciates the lesson of religion and its specific contribution to Christian education. He sees the need to involve parents in the process of Christian upbringing of children. He is familiar with the current issues of religious education at school. They show creativity in creating a religion lesson that fits all assumptions.
Lecture = 30 hours.Reading selected literature = 30 hours.Working out one aspect = 30 hours.Total 3 ECTS
Assessment criteria
very good (5): knowledge of all problems mentioned in the description.
good (4): synthetic knowledge of the main solutions in European countries and in Poland. Indication and discussion of the main problems that arise in teaching religion.
satisfactory (3): discussing the main problems related to religion lessons.
insufficient (2): ignorance of the issue.
