Methodology of integrated education of students with moderate and severe intellectual disabilities WNP-PSZ-MKZUZ
The classes are devoted to:
- specificity of educating students with moderate and severe intellectual disability. The specificity of education is determined by: the content of education, goals, forms, methods and tools of work adapted to the individual needs of a student with moderate and severe intellectual disability;
- integrated education of students with moderate and severe intellectual disability, based on multi-sensory learning of reality;
- developing personal and social competences of students with moderate and severe intellectual disabilities, which will allow them to live in adulthood with maximum independence, dignity and value.

PSI_TS2_W05 - the student has knowledge of the methodology of conducting educational and revalidation classes with a student with moderate and severe intellectual disability.
PSI_TS2_W06 - the student knows the principles of educational and revalidation work in a special school class.
Skills:
PSI_TS2_U07 - the student is able to construct an individual educational and therapeutic program for a student with a moderate or severe intellectual disability;
PSI_TS2_U08 - the student is able to independently design and organize educational and therapeutic classes for students with moderate and severe intellectual disability, taking into account the content of the general education core curriculum for students with moderate and severe intellectual disability.
PSI_TS2_U10 - the student is able to keep documentation of educational and therapeutic work necessary to support the development of students with moderate and severe intellectual disability.

- Student distinguishes degrees of intellectual disability, selectively characterizes moderate and significant intellectual disability and lists some physical, cognitive and psychosocial consequences; defines the process of education, revalidation, upbringing and care at work with a student with moderate and severe intellectual disability.
- Student in a basic way and with minor errors, develops documentation of educational and therapeutic work and designs classes for students with intellectual disabilities in a moderate and significant degree with a great help of the teacher with the help of basic teaching tools.
- Student recognizes the needs of individuals with varying degrees of intellectual disability; to a basic extent, demonstrates the need to acquire knowledge and to train in the field of methodical work with a student with moderate and severe intellectual disability.

The final grade consists of:
1. attendance - 2 absences are allowed; any overdue absence results in a reduction of the final grade by one degree;
2. reliable preparation and presentation of a didactic-polisensory tool for working with a student with intellectual disabilities to a moderate / significant degree;
3. reliable preparation of educational and therapeutic activities for students with moderate and severe intellectual disabilities and preparation of documentation.
In the 2020/2021 academic year:

- with a grade of 3.0 - the student has knowledge of the goals of education, forms, methods, techniques and tools of educational and revalidation work with a student with moderate and severe intellectual disability and knows the rules of this work.
- for the assessment of 3.5 - the student has knowledge of the goals of education, forms, methods, techniques and tools of educational and revalidation work according to the three areas of the content of education and knows the principles of this work.
- with a grade of 4.0 - the student has knowledge of the goals of education, forms, methods, techniques and tools of educational and revalidation work according to the three areas of education content. In his knowledge, he refers to the development of personal, social and communication competences of the student and his creative attitude, knowing the rules of this work.
- with a grade of 4.5 - the student has knowledge of the goals of education, forms, methods, techniques and tools of educational and revalidation work according to the three areas of the content of education - gives the right examples and justifies them. In his knowledge, he refers to the development of personal, social and communication competences of the student and his creative attitude, knowing the rules of this work.
- with a grade of 5.0 - the student has knowledge of the goals of education, forms, methods, techniques and tools of educational and revalidation work according to the three areas of education content - gives reasoned examples and explains their modifications. - with a grade of 3.5 - the student is able, with the help of the teacher, to construct an individual educational and therapeutic program for a student with a moderate or severe intellectual disability. With the help of the tutor, he is able to design and organize educational and therapeutic activities, taking into account the content of the general education core curriculum for students with moderate and severe intellectual disability, registering documentation of educational and therapeutic work necessary to support the development of students with moderate and severe intellectual disability.

- with a grade of 5.0 - the student is able to construct an individual educational and therapeutic program for a student with moderate or severe intellectual disability, extending its content with integrated activities of teachers and specialists aimed at improving the functioning of the student and activities supporting the parents of the student. Is able to design and organize educational and therapeutic activities in various forms, taking into account the content of the core curriculum for general education for students with moderate and severe intellectual disability, registering and comparing documentation of educational and therapeutic work necessary to support the development of students with moderate and severe intellectual disability and significant.
The final grade consists of:
1. Attendance at classes - 1 absence are allowed. Each over-admissible absence results in a reduction of the final grade by half a degree.
2. Activity in classes.
3. Development, presentation and submission of a series of educational activities developing personal and social functioning as well as a creative attitude correlated with rehabilitation classes - in accordance with the second area of the content of education.
