Diploma Internship WNP-PE-PR-DY-EDU-MGR
The basic assumption of pedagogical practice is to enable students to contact the didactic and educational reality in the institution and to provide conditions for gaining pedagogical experience in the field of:
1. preparation of future pedagogues for care and educational work in pre-school and early school education;
2. critical assessment of knowledge, skills and attitudes acquired during studies, through creative confrontation with empirical reality - consolidation of knowledge and skills or verification thereof;
3. acquiring the ability to accurately combine scientific knowledge with the practice of upbringing, education, care, diagnostics and pedagogical therapy;
4.developing knowledge of teaching methods and forms, upbringing and support and their practical use in kindergarten and grades I-III.
5. developing basic professional habits and competences - entering the trainee into the roles of educator, guardian, educator;
6. focus on active and creative participation in multiple and diverse forms of pedagogical classes in kindergarten and school (on their planning, preparation and conducting) - in accordance with the guidelines of the given institution.
7. developing positive beliefs of students regarding their own professional and personality competences in pedagogical work, strengthening beliefs about the aptness of choosing a profession;
8. knowledge of the goals, functions, structure, principles of operation and the essence of the organization of the institution and its environment;
9. in-depth expertise and understanding of the situation and didactic and educational processes of the institution;
10. developing the skills of effective interpersonal communication with pupils and self-presentation, as well as the correct diagnosis and constructive solution of problems and conflicts of upbringing.

P_UP1_08 Is able to independently design activities that support the development of a child in preschool and early school, preventing development difficulties, as well as actions to eliminate or
reducing disorders in the functioning of the child.
P_KP1_03 Is aware of the level of their knowledge and skills in the field of elementary education of the child and his revalidation in the context of various dysfunctions, understands the need for continuous vocational training and
personal development, self-assessment of own competences and skills, sets directions for own development and education.

Assessment criteria
The basis for completing the internship is to provide the faculty Proxy of the Dean for internships with:
- apprentice cards,
- placement log,
- observation sheets, approved by the tutor,
- apprentice competence cards,
- other materials developed during the internship, e.g. prepared teaching aids, photos documenting the implementation of the classes and work effects, a list of read literature, a list of legal acts that the student has read, etc.
