Self-image training WF-ZPS-TO
The aim of workshop goals is deepening the reflection of the participants, to broadening the awareness of the self- image and analyzing the self-esteem.
Topics
1. Philosophy of self-esteem,image of self-esteem.
2. Training of self- esteem (boost of self-esteem training) and self- acceptance: factors affecting self-esteem, adequate evaluation of strong and weak points.
3. Self- conviction (accuracy of self-conviction) verification of convictions concerning self-esteem.
4. Thinking distortions (irrational ways of thinking), identification of distortions in thinking, elimination of internal critic, self-observation, positive thinking, suppresion of negative thougts, control over negative feelings.
5. Coping with own mistakes, appropriate reaction to critism, goals setting an planning.
Term 2021/22:
These classes will be devoted to the training of one’s delf-image and one's body image. A body image should be understood as the perception of one’s body by a given person with regard to aesthetics and sexual attractiveness. |

A student will be able to explain what self-image and body image are, will know how to characterize the determinants of body image and such various aspects of body image as the social image of body or its sexuality, s/he will also be able to characterize the distortions of body image.

A student will be able to accurately identify various aspects of human functioning associated with self-image and body image, recognize problems with self-esteem and the distortions of body image in their surroundings.

A student will be able to provide basic aid to persons showing problems with self-esteem and body image distortions.

- for a grade of 5: A student can explain with great proficiency what self-image and body image are, knows very well how to characterize the determinants of body image and such various aspects of body image as the social image of body or its sexuality, s/he can also characterize the distortions of body image with great proficiency.
- for a grade of 4: A student can explain with some proficiency what self-image and body image are, knows fairly well how to characterize the determinants of body image and such various aspects of body image as the social image of body or its sexuality, s/he can also characterize the distortions of body image with some proficiency.
- for a grade of 3: A student can explain, albeit with difficulty, what self-image and body image are, knows how to characterize, though with difficulties, the determinants of body image and such various aspects of body image as the social image of body or its sexuality, s/he will also be able to characterize, albeit with difficulty, the distortions of body image.
- for a grade of 2: A student will be unable to explain what self-image and body image are, will not know how to characterize the determinants of body image and such various aspects of body image as the social image of body or its sexuality, s/he will also be unable to characterize the distortions of body image.
