Stereotypes and prejudice: - Prejudice reasons 4. Altruism, sympathies - giving and getting help, - Personal Features – Assessment of a person in need. 5. Group interaction: Features of effective communication – Attractiveness in groups – An individual vs. a group 6. Aggressive behavior: - Definition of aggression – Frustration vs. aggression – Learning aggression 7. The rules of influencing others – The rule of reciprocation – The rule of involvement and consequences - Social proof of rightness – Sympathies – Authority – Fake deficiency 8. Social psychology and general physical and mental state: - Disease revealing and disease description – Social factors determining a disease – Prevention.

Learning outcomes
Candidates should be able to:
• describe, evaluate and applied the central terms and social approach in social psychology;
• describe, evaluate and applied the various methodologies used to study cognitive psychology:
• describe, evaluate and applied the various issues and debates appropriate to social psychology;
• explore and understand the relationship between psychological findings and everyday life;
• develop an understanding of ethical issues in psychology, including the moral and ethical implications of psychological research.
Assessment criteria
Assessment methods: test of reading research lecture - 2 article during the semester (20%), and written exam in the form of multiple choice questions (80%).
