Course contents:
Working with texts, an analysis of the Code of Canon Law and other documents, the development of selected issues taking into account the historical background
1. Introductory issues: the notion of the Church, the Church's constitution, the state constitution
2. The concept of power in the Church
3. The Bishop of Rome as a subject of supreme authority. The Vatican City State
4. The College of Bishops - a collegiate body of supreme authority
5. The Synod of Bishops, an advisory body to the Roman Pontiff
6. The College of Cardinals, and its tasks
7. The origins and history of the Roman Curia
8. The current structure of the Roman Curia - the Secretary of State, Congregations
9. Tribunals of the Apostolic See
10. Other dicasteries of the Roman Curia
11. The Papal legates
Methods of assessment:
Participation in lectures, passing a test, the activity during classes, passing the exam.
Oral examination at the earlier term ('zero' term) before the exam session, in the form of a written report within a specified term during the exam session.
Positive knowledge, active participation in classes.

EK 1: the student gets to know the basic terminology in Structure of the universal Church

EK 3: the aim of subject is student’s achievement the knowledge in range of material and constitutional Church and the system of conduct in its authorities and function of individual low’s subjects

EK 4: the student by herself/himself can analyse the norms of Codex and documents in Structure of the universal Church
EK 5: the student’s sophistication of ability in composition the low’s issues in Structure of the universal Church
EK 6: the student’s understanding of the function of individual institution which are existed in Church both God’s low and Human’s low

EK 7: the student can organize the individual work in the aim to absorb the content of the range of Structure in the universal Church; the student’s activation in conduct lectures, discussion, the structural critical comments
EK 8: the student’s ability in using the knowledge, the particular ability, the ability in job, in occupational and personal career in categories of accountability for low’s order in the universal Church
