Theory of canon law WK-S-TP
Course contents:
1. Theory and theology of canon law, concepts, scientific position. The origins of the theory of law. The concept of theory. The theory of the Church law and "general standards" of the KPK.
2. Historical shape of the ecclesiastical law.
3. The Church acts: the Church legislature. The Act of the rational form of law. The Thomas definition of the act. The concept of the ecclesiastical law according to the KPK of 1983. The act, the rule, the norm.
4. Customary law.
5. The canonical norm - the concept, the binding force. The criteria for a legitimate law. Acceptance of ecclesiastical laws. Canon. The ethos of law.
6. Acting of law. Operators of the ecclesiastical law. Compliance and enforcement. The accomplishment of a legal norm.
Methods of assessment:
Oral examination.
